
Clinical Development
Ardana has a number of compounds in clinical development:
Testosterone cream - A patented dermal (skin) testosterone delivery system in development for the treatment of male hypogonadism, about to enter phase III trials.
Teverelix Extended Release (Teverelix LA) - a patented long acting formulation of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist Teverelix, which is in Phase II trials in patients with prostate cancer and a;so in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).. Phase II trials for endometriosis are planned for the near future.
Teverelix Immediate Release – a GnRH antagonist which has completed Phase I development for the prevention of premature ovulation in controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) and assisted reproductive technology (ART).
ARD-07 (formerly known as EP 01572) Oral GHS – Phase II studies for therapeutic uses for this product, including AIDS Lipodystrophy and other indications in which growth hormone deficiency is implicated, are planned for the near future.
Terbutaline – a bioadhesive vaginal gel, relevant to the treatment of infertility linked to endometriosis, currently in Phase II. This is being co-developed with and has been licensed from Columbia Laboratories Inc.
Leuprorelin Implants – a new proprietary formulation of an established prostate cancer treatment. Leuprorelin implants are in Phase II clinical trials. A number of reformulations are currently being investigated.
