What Ardana is seeking
Ardana is interested in acquiring development compounds or marketed products, which fall within its therapeutic areas of interest and companies which offer synergies in its areas of focus.
Ardana is currently seeking to broaden its product portfolio and in particular to acquire later stage development or marketed products, particularly those marketed to endocrinologists and/or urologists. It is well positioned to enter mutually beneficial arrangements with US and Japanese specialty pharmaceutical companies that do not have a European presence. Such companies could access Ardana’s therapies for sale in North America and/or Japan in return for European rights to their reproductive health products.
Ardana is also interested in acquiring or co-promoting established products which are of declining commercial significance to the partner in question and which Ardana can enhance through its formulation and delivery expertise and/or revitalise through its focused sales and marketing capacity.
For the longer term, Ardana aims to evaluate other companies’ early-stage compounds in its models in order to expand its intellectual property portfolio. The company would require exclusive rights to exploit any new intellectual property so generated in its core reproductive indications.
